(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – An individual was charged following an investigation into an incident of impaired driving.
At approximately 7:08 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, 2024, officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment responded to a 9-1-1 call about a suspected impaired driver on Harbour Street in Port Dover, Norfolk County.
Shortly afterwards, the responding officers located the vehicle in question on Lynn Valley Road in Woodhouse, Norfolk County.
After assessing the driver’s sobriety at the roadside, they were taken into custody without incident.
Charged with the following alleged offence is 41-year-old Reuben SAMPSON of Norfolk County:
Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice located in Simcoe on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
